“Filled with passion and emotion …one hot read.”
- Michelle Houston for Sensual Romance

"In this book, His Mistress, by Treva Harte, we not only read a book about primal passion, but about healing, love and a touch of suspense."
- Jody Gore, Women on Writing

"An interesting mix of modern world events mesh very well with those of colonial America, as Mercy’s two lives come crashing together in an artistic climax. This reviewer wishes HIS MISTRESS was way longer than it really is. Definitely one entertaining story to heat things up on a cold winter evening."
- M. van Veen

"Clear and concise with every turn of the page, a slow, subtle journey to a smoldering love kept alive for centuries. If passion, and awakenings are what spark your interest, this reader highly recommends His Mistress!"
- Connie, A Romance Review

"HIS MISTRESS is pleasantly different and had me hooked from the first. Treva Harte has once again proven her creative talent, and has delivered an exciting short story. Don’t miss this entertaining and thought-provoking novel."

Behind the Book

I had been in the middle of writing The Deviants series—for those who haven’t read them, they are not very serious books—when I just had to write His Mistress. It’s a rather dreamy, more serious, passionate book. I have a tendency to do that. I don’t know why. The hero is yummy if you like younger men who are willing to make you very, very happy.
